Fresh work is cooking in the studio

This painting was a rabbit trail from 2005. My love of simple illustration married to my love for abstract modern design. Successful, but rabbit trail nontheless.

This paintings is inspired by some great modern ceramics. Because I do not have time to mess around in a new medium, I will be content to let my interests fuel my paintings.

I have not been posting because I am just to busy as of late. I finished remodeling the kitchen and am eager to get back to painting. Plus, Shannon found out a few weeks ago that we are going to have a baby! I think we will name him The Beaver, or Eunice if its a girl.

I have begun honing my photography skills via Photoshop. I am going to start approaching documentation of my work as another outlet for creative expression. Art about art.
